Public Transportation/From Newark Penn Station via NJ Transit, Amtrak & Path trains:

An enclosed skywalk connects the Gateway Complex to Penn Station, Newark. Take the escalator in front of McDonald's to the upper level. Follow the skywalk heading toward the Gateway Center until it ends, and turn left. One Gateway will be in front of you at the end of the hallway. Report to the security for a guest pass.

Driving Directions:

PUBLIC PARKING is available in the Gateway Hilton lot, which is connected to our building and located on Raymond Plaza West across the street from Penn Station.

If the Hilton parking garage is full, you may park in the Riverfront Plaza garage. To access the Riverfront Plaza garage, continue on Raymond Plaza West, go through the light and enter the Riverfront garage.

From Route 280 East:

Take Exit 15. Follow the ramp onto Route 21 South (McCarter Highway). Travel 5 traffic lights and make a left onto Raymond Boulevard (the Hilton will be on your right). Move toward the right lane in order to make a quick right into lot by the sign that reads "Hilton Entrance." Follow directions listed above for PUBLIC PARKING.

From 280 West:

Take Exit 15A and follow signs for Rt. 21 South (McCarter Highway). Travel 5 traffic lights and make a left onto Raymond Boulevard (the Hilton will be on your right). Move toward the right lane in order to make a quick right into lot by the sign that reads "Hilton Entrance." Follow directions listed above for PUBLIC PARKING.

From the New Jersey Turnpike (95 North or South):

Take Exit 15E. After paying tolls, follow the signs for Newark/Raymond Boulevard. Bear left off the ramp and right at the light onto Raymond Boulevard. You will travel approximately 2 miles and there will be a Gulf Gas Station on your left, continue past the Gulf Station and stay in the left lane passing the Jefferson Street exit. Take the next exit onto Market Street, which is the fork in the road by the Burger King. Go through three traffic lights and make a right turn onto Raymond Plaza West. Newark Penn Station will be on your right and the parking garage will be on your left. Follow directions listed above for PUBLIC PARKING.

Route 78 East:

Take Exit 58A toward Newark, and take Route 1 South for approximately 1 mile. Take the exit marked Route 21 North, and follow this road until you see Market Street. Our building will be in front of you. Turn right onto Market Street, and then left onto Raymond Plaza. Newark Penn Station will be on your right and the parking garage will be on your left. Follow directions listed above for PUBLIC PARKING.

From Newark International Airport:

From airport, take Route 9 to Route 21, which will turn into McCarter Highway. Proceed down Route 21 North for 2.5 miles. Make right hand turn onto Market Street. Our building will be in front of you. At the next light turn left onto Raymond Plaza West. Newark Penn Station will be on your right and the parking garage will be on your left. Follow directions listed above for PUBLIC PARKING.

Via Garden State Parkway - North:

Take the Garden State Parkway North to Exit 140, onto Rte. 22 East. Stay left until Exit marked "Newark/Rte. 21 North." Take Rte. 21/McCarter Highway approximately 1-1/2 miles to Market Street. Turn right on Market Street, turn left on Raymond Plaza West. Newark Penn Station will be on your right and the parking garage will be on your left. Follow directions listed above for PUBLIC PARKING.

Via Garden State Parkway - South:

Follow Garden State Parkway South to Exit 145, bearing onto Rte. 280 East. Bear right where 280 forks and follow signs for "Performing Arts Center" to Exit 15. Exit and turn right at traffic light onto Route 21/McCarter Highway. Turn left at Raymond Boulevard (Hilton Gateway Hotel is on the corner). Stay to your right and make a right into the Hilton Gateway entrance and follow to parking lot.


From Morristown Area - Via Route 24:

Follow Rte. 24 East, which becomes Rte. 78 East. Follow Rte. 78 East to Exit 58A which is marked "Newark". Follow this Exit onto Rte. 1 South for approximately 1 mile to Exit marked "Rte. 21 North." Follow Rte. 21/McCarter Hwy. to Market Street turn right onto Market Street, turn left onto Raymond Plaza West. Newark Penn Station will be on your right and the parking garage will be on your left. From Bergen County - Via Route 17:

Follow Rte. 17 South, to Rte. 3 West, to Rte. 21 South. Follow Rte. 21/McCarter Hwy. approximately 6 miles to Market Street, turn left at the next intersection, Edison Place, turn the next left onto Alling Street. Cross Market Street onto Raymond Plaza West. Newark Penn Station will be on your right and the parking garage will be on your left. Follow directions listed above for PUBLIC PARKING.

From the Holland Tunnel:

Take Tunnel (access from Canal Street) and proceed to Pulaski Skyway on the New Jersey side.
Continue on Skyway to exit on right marked "Newark & The Oranges".
Follow this road into Raymond Blvd. for almost 2 miles and you will see a Gulf station on your left. Continue past the Gulf Station and stay in the left lane passing the Jefferson Street exit. Take the next exit onto Market Street, which is the fork in the road by the Burger King. Go through three traffic lights and make a right turn onto Raymond Plaza West.
